Just me and the Boys!

The girls are in school now so days are fun with just my boys!! They are so sweet together! Sebastian is taking pictures with mom's camera...the lego one is my favorite..I think he is trying to say something about the purpose of life in this one! LOL...

Both girls had birthdays recently..Simone turned 6 on Aug 28 and Sophie turned 7 on Sept 10..yikes..my babies are getting old!

First Day of School

Wow the first day of school came quick...the girls are in 1st grade!! Cannot believe it! No homework yet...strange..

Summer 2008

Mommy got to have some fun too!!!! Here are random pics from summer...Basically...Spent great times with the kids! Brewers game with work...Cousin Sawyer Jack Stephens was born and came to visit...Reconnected with an old friend "Woody"..ugh Lisa to me! And a lovely wedding at the Moose Lodge with Candee..that is Patrick in the picture too...we were both her dates!

We had a blast at the Racine County Fair!! Here are some pictures from that!

Next we have the 4th of July! We went to the Union Grove parade with the Kellners...then to Denny's which was probably the highlight for the kids....The Kellners came over for a swim!! Lastly we did go to the fireworks in Racine with Amanda, Jerry, and the girls but none of those pics turned out...bummer!

The BEACH!!!!! We went there a lot!!!!!

OK so I am horrible blogger...I forget and I take few pictures of the kids...anyway.. Geez it is almost over..How sad. This is the best summer I have had since I was 16!!

Here are new buddies Halas and Sebastian. I was lucky to babysit for my friend Candee's two boys Halas and Sayer...what fun! Sayer spent most of the time asleep or in my arms so no pics this time...maybe next..LOL Sebastian had fun playing with a boy closer to his own age!

Memorial Weekend

Heide and Spence!! Oh yeah and a man and his dog..LOL Rick and Harley! Big Spencer had his cereal bowl with him...silly.. We had a fun crazy weekend. Amanda, her girls and thei dog had a sleepover with us on Sunday night! What fun...Then we got up to watch the parade before they all went to spend time with the sperm that created them...

Indoor Camping...

Here is my masterpiece of a camping experience. We tried yesterday but they were naughty so it got torn down. Today was busy..We went for a walk in the morning and to the park for a picnic with the Klein's.. Now it is camping time!!

Taking things for granted

Sunday I had a really great day planned and first thing in the morning I got the bad news that it wasn't going to happen...so in my despair, I had to find a place to go during my open house. So I decided to go down by Lake Michigan, which is unusual for me. I live only miles away from a beautiful creation of God and totally take it for granted. I brought a book that I have been reading..a sort of "self-help" book...What a bunch of crap...Obviously written by a caveman himself trying to explain why it is ok that men are cavemen...Oh and that women should learn to accept them basically..Asshole! I could not concentrate on the book because I was drawn to how pretty the lake and surrounding areas are. I was pretty upset but a sense of calm came over me. At least for that brief time I was ok...Then I got home and remembered why I was pissed...LIFE!!
